On September 11, 2012 a man was found deserted in the pacific ocean on a boat with no gas. Toakai Teitoi was stranded for 166 days and was guided to another boat by a shark. On May 27, 2012 Teitoi and his brother-in-law were headed home when they decided to go fishing and sleep on the boat. When they woke up they did not know where they were and they had no more gas. They were stranded and low on drinkable water. On July 4, 2012 Teitoi's brother-in-law died from dehydration. Shortly after he passed there was a rain storm and Teitoi stored up some water. On September 11, 2012 Teitoi woke up to a scratching on the side of his boat. It was a shark circling his boat and bumping into it. When Teitoi looked up he saw a boat of fishermen, Teitoi says the shark was guiding him to the other boat, the shark saved his life.

I thought sharks were supposed to do the killing. That's amazing that the shark came to his boat and led him to another one.
ReplyDeleteI think the shark was trying to eat the person, i do not think the shark would do this, the boat just happened to be there.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Emma i think the shark was trying to attack not save him. Cause how would the shark know he was out of gas and needed help. It was just a coincidence that the other boat was there.
