Obesity and the Military

Childhood obesity rate have definitely gone up and it is interfering with the military now. It is no longer just a health issue to be obese, it is now being referred to as a national security issue. Statistics show in young adults that one out of four of them would be too overweight to join the U.S. Military. We are the only major country that has this many problems with people being overweight in the armed forces. As a attempt to ending obesity or at least making the rates go down, schools are trying to feel healthier lunches to schools all around the country.

  2. I think it's a good idea to serve healthier lunches because Americans rely too much on fast food resteraunts.
